It's Pink October, be a Pink Messenger!

Breast Cancer Awareness Month or better known as Pink October is an annual health campaign to raise awareness of breast cancer and to support the strength of women, and of those who are affected by this disease.

As we all know, breast cancer is the most common cancer in women. A woman of every race in Malaysia has a 1 in 20 chance of getting this disease in her lifetime. So, if you are worried about developing this cruel disease or know someone who has been diagnosed with this disease, one definite way to deal with your worries is to get as much information as possible!

In conjunction with this campaign, one of my favourite online stores, AZORIAS, together with Breast Cancer Welfare Association (BCWA) came up with the idea of Pink Messenger. All you need to learn is the messages left in the box below and spread these messages to every women you know! Tell them all to your sister, mom, grandmother, best friends, and even your guy friends! (Psst, do you know that breast cancer occurs in men too, which is rare, but is generally overlooked?)

AZORIAS is also supporting this campaign by placing BCWA merchandises on their website and donating 10% for every pink items sold on AZORIAS to help fund BCWA activities.

To raise hype and awareness this Pink October, here's what you can do:

Wear anything pink, even if it's the colour of your lipstick or nails!

Don't forget to insert a tagline of:

"I am wearing pink today, what about you? I support Pink October."

Post it on AZORIAS'S FACEBOOK PAGE, and you're entitled to get a 10% discount voucher from AZORIAS. At the end of month, AZORIAS will pick a winner and the winner gets to pick a pink item of her choice from AZORIAS!

Don't forget to share it too on your Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, blog, Tumblr, you name it.

Some random pictures taken during my Graduation Show yesterday, at J.W Marriott. I'd like to thank everyone who came last night, and also everyone who had supported me throught out my whole course and are still supporting me. This is such an amazing experience, I can't imagine what would I do without everyone especially my Dad. Lately I am missing my late Mom a lot, and wishing she was around. This is definitely for both of my late Mom, and Dad. It was unbelievable as well to be announced as the second runner up. I am just beyond greatful for everything right now.

What's next? Yeah, what's next? We'll see.
